West Elm, the global brand selling exclusive home-décor items, prides itself as the first U.S. home retailer to carry Fair Trade products. West Elm provides students and their teachers with discounts.
How much is the West Elm student discount?
Students who sign up for West Elm get 15% off every purchase year-round. The company sells thousands of products, including bedding items, furniture, kitchenware, and wall art. You can use your discount online or in store. You can’t use it on gift cards, items that must be ordered, or at outlet locations. But, everything else is fair game.
For the socially conscious, West Elm says it offers a wide selection of “organic, hand-crafted, sustainably sourced and Fair Trade Certified products.”
How to qualify for West Elm student pricing?
Have your “.edu” email address ready and register online, or show up to a store with a valid college ID. If your school email address doesn’t end in “.edu,” don’t fret. The website provides a separate link to register in those cases. Note, however, that addresses from major providers like AOL and Google won’t qualify you for a student discount.
